1798-1862             19th and Cary Street, built by George Winston. Occupied by Confederate soldiers during Civil War

1909-1929             Met at YMCA on Franklin Street

 

1929-1945             1804 Park Avenue- RFM owned the building but moved out because it has only one large room and no space for children’s First Day School. Across from the park. During WW2 and fuel rationing, RFM met at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Monument Avenue. (Photo 2003)

 

 

1945-1953             Met at YMCA and Tabernacle Baptist Church (Hanover Avenue in Fan)

 

1953-1957             Bought residence at 2702 Grove Avenue. Sold it later because fire marshal said it was not large enough for our membership to meet in and be safe under city fire code. (Photo 2003)

 

1957-present    Bought 4500 Kensington Avenue from Colonial Place Christian Church for $17,500. Mortgage free since purchase.  Renovation and expansion of education building at rear scheduled for 2004. (Photo 2003)
